letter from the ceo...

Nothing says summer in Minnesota like spending a sunny Independence Day Holiday at the lake!  And sitting on the beach, cold beverage in hand and sunscreen meticulously applied to every other exposed inch, I find myself with a moment to reflect…Or is that just the UV rays reflecting off the water?  Either way, this is a great moment in time – for me personally, and for Reside corporately.  Allow me to share with you…

In June, we experienced a record sales month, which nearly beat out our best historical quarter.  Step inside Reside’s office, and you can almost smell the burned rubber, as our team members have been hitting the ground and running (or driving!) fast every day to support our clients.  Sure, a few speeding tickets have been issued along the way, but that’s to be expected at this pace.

We continue to add to our team so that we can serve our growing base of clients.  We are currently hiring across most areas of our business, with interviews in progress.  If you know any Rockstars who are looking for their next great gig, please refer them to Reside.  We are looking for top talent with a lot of heart.

Our brand and marketing continue to evolve, with many exciting plans underway to take the Reside message wider and deeper.  Look for some fun changes coming from us soon.

Finally, before I finish my aforementioned "cold beverage", I’d like to propose a toast: To all of our clients, for your enduring trust and patronage; to our incredible team of rockers, for your passion for results; and to the friends and family who keep us balanced on this wild ride.  We couldn’t do any of this without you!

Have a fabulous summer, and be sure to take some days off…to reflect!

Rockin’,

Matt Meents

Selling the Benefits
By Brain Stone, President, Brian Stone Consulting

I was gliding through a typical networking event full of ambitious and tenacious men and women actively seeking opportunities to network, expand their business, and enhance their self-view.  A salesperson at the event began their sales encounter by communicating to a potential client (and by proxy, me as well) how versed they were with their product.  I fought-back the impending boredom, knowing how the potential client must have felt: uninterested....
