letter from the ceo...

Dear Colleague

Greetings to you in this New Year!  I hope 2004 is finding you in the path of many great opportunities and with an open mind to embrace all the possibilities ahead!

I always enjoy this chance to update you on the happenings at Reside, and I'm always surprised by how quickly time flies.  It's so exciting to see Reside entering our fourth year of business...And yet it seems like it was just yesterday that we were holding staff meetings in coffee shops and trying to decide what our logo should look like.

You'll see in the news below that our company continues to grow and change as we improve our structure, processes, and services to further support our clients.  But with all of the changes, our mission remains the same.  We will continue to be an accountable technology services firm that: Listens to and enables our clients, builds trust in our relationships, and works with a sense of urgency on client projects.

Thank you for making 2003 a great year for Reside!  And to echo from last year's letter: May this year bring you, your family, and your business many good tidings!

Rockin',

Matt Meents
Chief Executive Officer

Reside Team is Growing! We are excited to introduce you to our newest staff member!  Don Mink joined Reside in early December as as staff programmer.  He has already become a real asset to our technical staff, taking on several internal projects and supplementing client projects with his diverse programming skills.  Don is the seventh member of our "small but mighty" team, and we are thrilled to have him on board!  Say hello to Don at dmink@reside.biz.

Seeking Skilled Sales Person: Reside is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time sales representative opportunity.  Candidate must have 2+ years sales experience, with an understanding of "consultative selling" to high level decision makers.  Dynamic, self-motivated, innovative, detailed...and many other skillsets required.  Interested parties should submit resumes to careers@reside.biz.

To Better Serve You... We have recently made some changes to our staff structure to better accommodate our client's project needs.

  • Paul Wilhoit has taken on the role of Vice President of Operations, in which capacity he will manage both Reside and client development projects, acting as the primary interface between our clients and Reside's development teams to ensure smooth work flow and timeline/budget management.  Paul can be reached at pwilhoit@reside.biz
  • Jennifer Zick now manages sales for both areas of our business (Web Development and Contact Management), and oversees Reside's internal marketing efforts as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  Jennifer can be reached at jzick@reside.biz

This re-organization will be a seamless transition for our new and existing clients, but please be sure to contact us if you have any questions.  The entire Reside team looks forward to continuing to provide you with top-notch service as we continually improve our processes!

Just to remind you...
Copyright Updates: It's 2004, and time to make sure that your web site (and other business collateral) is up to date!  If your site includes a copyright date or date range, now is a good time to update it.  For our clients who utilize the Reside Dynamic Fusebox tool, this is a quick and easy change!  Contact Reside if you have questions about our web tools and services or need assistance with updates to your web site.

New Spam/Virus Filtering Service: Spam filling up your inbox and driving you nuts?!  We feel your pain...and we have a solution!  Due to the many requests by our clients to help them solve this issue, Reside is now offering server-based protection against spam and viruses to support specific users or your entire organization.  More information about this new service is available on our web site: click here.
