Barack Obama's Presidential Transition Team unveiled the Citizen's Briefing Book - an online ideas portal enabled by Reside that allows U.S. citizens to directly communicate with President Barack Obama, via his Transition Team. The portal is built upon Force.com, the central development platform of Salesforce.com. As a premier implementation partner for this platform, Reside was selected to work directly with the Presidential Transition Team to seamlessly integrate the design and functionality of The Citizen’s Briefing Book (Force.com) to Obama’s existing Web site: change.gov

Several of Reside's staff members invested their time on March 6th, 2008 to take and make calls to raise funds for Gillette children's Specialty Healthcare and Children's Cancer Research Fund. As always, it was fun to get our band together to volunteer for a great cause, and so inspiring to hear the stories shared by children and families whose lives have been touched by childhood illness or disabilities.
